EPC & Construction Management
GeoFlow Energy manages the entire EPC (Engineering – Procurement – Construction) process of renewable energy power plants on behalf of the investor, ensuring that the project is completed with technical accuracy, within the planned budget and schedule. Each phase—engineering, procurement, and construction—is executed with disciplined project control, independent technical supervision, and experienced on-site management.
GeoFlow’s EPC approach is based on independent engineering management that reduces risks, optimizes costs, improves implementation quality, and protects the investor’s interests at every stage.
1. EPC Engineering Management
The first and most critical phase of EPC is engineering. At this stage, GeoFlow:
-
Reviews, interprets, and optimizes all technical design documents.
-
Verifies that implementation projects comply with standards, site conditions, and regulations.
-
Coordinates multidisciplinary design for hydro, wind, and solar projects.
-
Optimizes structural, electromechanical, and infrastructure designs in favor of the investor.
-
Controls and approves design revisions to ensure implementability.
This approach prevents technical errors before the implementation phase begins.
2. EPC Procurement Management
The success of renewable energy plants depends on procuring the right equipment at the right cost. GeoFlow:
-
Prepares and optimizes technical specifications for equipment.
-
Analyzes supplier proposals from technical and financial perspectives.
-
Supports decision-making for selecting the appropriate manufacturer and contractor.
-
Evaluates all procurement contracts from a technical standpoint on behalf of the investor.
-
Monitors supplier manufacturing processes and quality controls (FAT).
-
Oversees delivery, transportation, customs, and on-site logistics processes.
The goal is to ensure durable, efficient, and compliant equipment selection while optimizing investment costs.
3. EPC Construction & Installation Management
The quality of on-site implementation determines the actual performance of the project. Therefore, GeoFlow:
-
Checks site mobilization and project schedule adherence.
-
Continuously inspects construction works and verifies compliance with technical specifications.
-
Independently supervises hydromechanical, electromechanical, infrastructure, and superstructure installations.
-
Conducts on-site inspections and approvals at critical construction stages.
-
Identifies non-compliances and resolves issues with contractors on behalf of the investor.
-
Prepares regular site progress reports to keep the investor informed.
-
Continuously monitors workmanship quality, material standards, and safety compliance.
This ensures the project is completed accurately and without irreversible errors.
4. Commissioning & Acceptance Processes
At the final stage, GeoFlow Energy professionally manages all testing, commissioning, and acceptance processes:
-
Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
-
Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
-
Mechanical and electrical performance tests
-
System integration checks
-
Preparation of all documents required for project acceptance
-
Execution of provisional and final acceptance processes
This enables the investor to take over the power plant safely and at full performance.
GeoFlow’s EPC Approach
GeoFlow Energy acts as an independent technical safeguard for the investor throughout the EPC process. Each step aims to achieve:
-
Maximum energy efficiency
-
Minimum risk
-
Optimal cost
-
Shortest acceptance period
-
Long-term facility performance
GeoFlow provides full engineering support throughout these processes, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and sustainably.
